Ruiz & Smart is hiring A Social MEdia & Content Intern

Ruiz & Smart LLP is a boutique plaintiff litigation firm in downtown Seattle in search of a Litigation Paralegal. 

The key responsibilities for this position include: 

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase our law firm's presence on key social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, X, and Instagram.

  • Create engaging and relevant content tailored to each platform to drive follower growth, engagement, and brand awareness.

  • Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, comments, and messages promptly, and maintain a consistent brand voice and image across all platforms.

  • Analyze social media metrics and performance data to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaborate with firm members to brainstorm, research, and create compelling written and visual content for our website, blog, social media channels, and email newsletters.

  • Produce high-quality written content.

  • Assist in the development of multimedia content such as videos, infographics, and animations to support marketing campaigns and initiatives.

  • Ensure all content is accurate, well-researched, and aligns with the firm’s mission and values.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, news, and best practices in social media marketing, content creation, and the legal sector.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis as requested to identify gaps, opportunities, and areas for differentiation.

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings to optimize marketing strategies and content development efforts.

  • Strong writing and proofreading skills; and

  • Desire to stay at the forefront of technology.

  • You have a college degree or are in the process of obtaining your college degree;

  • You have experience in the legal field or some legal education (preferred but not required);

  • You have strong writing skills;

  • You are proficient in crafting engaging content for digital platforms;

  • You are familiar with social media and content management tools and systems;

  • You have experience working with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel, and other computer applications such as Adobe Acrobat; and

  • You are familiar and effective conducting online research.

Details:

  • Hours: Approximately 10–20 hours per week

  • Compensation: $25–$40/hour depending on experience
